AI assistance for grant applications and knowledge management using state AI (KINOEL)

The project uses AI assistance systems to support the processing of EU funding applications. It automatically checks applications, compares offers, consolidates knowledge and generates texts, thereby reducing processing times and improving service quality.

Objective

 

Utilizing the state AI KINOEL to shorten processing times in the approval process for EU funding applications, increase the quality of reviews, and improve internal knowledge management.

 

AI Assistance Systems

1. Initial Review Assistant checks applications for completeness and summarizes which documents are still missing – enabling faster requests for additional information.

2. Bid Review Assistant checks submitted bids for comparability, eligibility for funding, and, in the case of applications from associations, whether they originate from members.

 

3. Knowledge/Regulation Assistant compiles fact sheets, regulations, and information sheets and provides concise answers to current questions.

 

4. Writing Assistant creates summaries and emails – ensuring consistent communication.

 

Expected Benefits

Time savings, standardized reviews, rapid access to legal information, and reduced writing effort. The use of AI assistance systems will sustainably improve the service quality for applicants and shorten processing times.
