Data Warehouse with AI support

The printing company Ferdinand Berger & Sons in Horn is taking an important step towards digitalization. With the help of artificial intelligence, data from purchasing, machinery, and shipping are being consolidated to make processes more transparent and relieve the burden on employees. The new solution simplifies analysis, reduces potential errors, and enables faster decision-making. The long-established company with around 200 employees produces millions of printed materials annually and relies on AI that works in the background to support its employees. Peter Berger was adamant that sensitive customer data must remain within the company's own server room. Therefore, a completely local solution was chosen. The decision to use Austrian open-source technology also allows for flexible expansion without ongoing license fees. Workstations remain unchanged, as the AI ​​only performs support tasks. The project demonstrates how modern technologies can strengthen regional companies and secure their long-term viability.
