Digital workshop for small regions in Lower Austria

The Digital Workshop of the Village & Town Renewal program is a practical workshop format for municipalities that facilitates their entry into digitalization – particularly artificial intelligence. The goal is to equip municipal employees, department heads, and staff for everyday digital life, reduce barriers to adoption, and demonstrate concrete applications for administration and communication. In compact, interactive training sessions (approx. 3 hours), participants become familiar with digital tools, try them out directly, and exchange experiences and best practices. The benefits include improved efficiency, new solutions for municipal challenges, and strengthened digital competence within the community. The format is innovative due to its low-threshold access, strong practical focus, and the combination of AI training and regional knowledge sharing. The Digital Workshop is implemented by certified AI trainers in cooperation with the regional advisory service of the Lower Austrian Village & Town Renewal program.
