The research project aims to provide SMEs with a solid data foundation and a comprehensive knowledge model through initial demonstrators that can be seamlessly integrated into LLM applications. Using Large Language Models enables SMEs to utilize relevant documentation, such as customer support or maintenance records, much more efficiently, thereby optimizing internal processes. The demonstrators developed in the project illustrate how automated data structuring – for example, in the area of maintenance – can be implemented. The documentation includes a detailed potential analysis and focuses on identifying suitable data sources within SMEs. Furthermore, innovative business models for automated data structuring are presented. Issues of accountability, explainability, and sustainability are also comprehensively addressed to ensure a holistic approach.
