The digi report 2025 appeared for the first time exclusively in digital form in the “digital display window” on the website of the House of Digitalization. It is an impressive example of how digitalization is already being lived in Lower Austria in a variety of ways – from innovative applications in state government to initiatives in municipalities and regions and future-oriented projects in the worlds of business and science.
A research project on effective strategies to protect young people against extremist content on social media, the “nature in the garden” chatbot and an EU project in the area of data rooms are just a few examples of how digitalization is now part of people’s daily lives. It brings new challenges – but also significant opportunities in terms of innovation, competitiveness and ensuring a high quality of life.
I would like to thank everyone whose commitment and dedication have helped to drive digitalization forward in Lower Austria. Together we can create the foundation for a successful and worthwhile future.
Johanna Mikl-Leitner
Governor of Lower Austria
