The TOVIES project is developing a toolkit for collaborative learning specifically tailored to young people between 10 and 14 years old. The aim is to convey gender-sensitive content in an engaging way, promote self-efficacy, and break down stereotypical ideas. The innovative aspect is the combination of digital methods, participatory didactics, and gender-equitable design, which enables interactive learning spaces. Participating organizations include the TOVIES project team, the industry partner Fluxguide, as well as schools and museums in Austria. Methodologically, prototypes of the toolkit are being created, content is being developed participatively with young people and educational stakeholders, and tested in evaluation cycles. This will result in a flexible framework that allows for the interactive transfer of knowledge and enables experiential learning. The current status includes prototype development and initial testing; the project aims for a proof of concept and a potential analysis in order to further develop the toolkit for market readiness after project completion.
