The conference is dedicated to the analysis and discussion of the effects of digitalization and demographic change on volunteering.
The focus is on how digital innovations are changing working methods and structures in third sector organizations and what specific challenges and opportunities this presents for older volunteers.
Perspectives from science, practice and politics will be brought together to provide a comprehensive understanding of current and future developments.
The event will kick off with a welcome address by LH Johanna Mikl-Leitner, followed by exciting keynotes and best practices presented by experts from various fields.
In several break-out sessions, participants will have the opportunity to discuss specific topics from a political-social

- didactic-scientific perspectives
The event will conclude with a panel discussion featuring leading experts from politics, education and digitalization as well as representatives of large organizations and socially committed companies.
