Wiener Neustadt, April 11, 2025 – In economically challenging times, the need for future-proof solutions is growing. The central role that digitalization plays in this process became clear at the House of Digitalization's Future Heurigen (Future Heurigen), which took place on April 10 at the ecoplus Technology and Research Center in Wiener Neustadt.
Under the motto "Digitalization on the Rise – Innovation Meets Tradition," representatives from business, research, and law exchanged views on current developments and the potential of digital transformation.
Peter Brandstetter from the House of Digitalization presented the current support offerings for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and provided initial insights into the new exhibition, which will be on display in the showroom in Tulln starting in the fall. At the same time, he called on innovative companies to submit their digital solutions for presentation.
Input from various disciplines deepened the thematic approach:
Finally, Georg Wernitznig provided information on the current services of the Digital Innovation Hub East, Innovation Hub East, before Michael Kollegger presented funding opportunities specifically for SMEs.
The evening concluded with regional cuisine and stimulating conversations in a relaxed atmosphere – in the spirit of a classic Heurigen (wine tavern), combined with a look ahead. The event made it clear: digitalization is not an end in itself. It represents a real opportunity for companies to emerge stronger from challenging times.
