The logo of the state of Lower Austria features a blue shield in a strong, rich royal blue. At its center is a golden "N" in a clear, sans-serif typeface. The combination of blue and gold conveys an official, high-quality image and is strongly associated with the identity of the state. The logo is deliberately minimalist so that the "N" remains instantly recognizable as the distinctive symbol of the state.
The logo features the official European Union flag: a deep blue rectangle with a circle of twelve golden stars at its center, symbolizing unity, stability, and cooperation across Europe. Next to or below the flag appears the text “Co‑funded by the European Union”, typically presented in a clean and formal typeface. The overall design conveys an official, trustworthy look and clearly indicates financial support from the EU.
