The successful workshop series "AI in Tourism," a joint initiative of ecoplus House of Digitalization, Lower Austria Tourism, the tourism destinations in Lower Austria, and the Tourism Division of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce, has been touring Lower Austria since summer 2024, supporting businesses in experiencing the practical possibilities of artificial intelligence and implementing them step by step in their daily work.

Since its launch, more than 500 participants have attended the workshops. Today, "AI in Tourism" is once again stopping at the House of Digitalization in Tulln. The workshop is fully booked with 25 participants.

The focus is on concrete applications of AI – for example, for creating texts, developing new product ideas, or the targeted use of assistance tools within a team. Participants work with real-world business examples, emphasizing structure, clarity, and immediate applicability. ...

The workshops were developed in collaboration with Philipp-Thomas Müller (St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences), who addresses key practical questions. The content is continuously refined in cooperation with tourism destinations and industry experts. The goal of "AI in Tourism" is to provide guidance, remove barriers, and offer easy access – no prior technical knowledge required, but with a clear understanding of where AI can truly be beneficial.

The next workshops on November 19 in St. Pölten and November 24 in Wiener Neustadt are already fully booked. A continuation of "AI in Tourism" is planned for 2026. Further information and current dates can be found on our website and at https://tourismus.niederoesterreich.at/fortbildung-digitalisierung.
