AI as a Constant Companion
The opening coincided with the breakthrough of generative artificial intelligence, a time when digital tools became directly tangible for the first time. Since then, AI has been a constant companion in our work. Together with strong partners, we support SMEs in particular in engaging with AI, recognizing opportunities, and taking initial steps within their own operations. This involves addressing concrete questions: Where can AI simplify processes? How can marketing, sales, service, or internal processes be improved? And what prerequisites are necessary for responsible use?
Services for Companies
Among the most important awareness formats are the "Digitalks on Tour," which, in cooperation with the State of Lower Austria and the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce, offer practical insights into digital applications. In addition, workshops such as "Prompting," "Using Generative AI in Business," and new focus areas on AI agents support companies in building their expertise. Specialized formats like "AI in Tourism" demonstrate how industry-specific challenges can be addressed with digital tools. "Digitalization for Seniors" also contributes to broadening the adoption of digital skills.
Security and Orientation
Digitalization opens up opportunities but also brings risks. Therefore, the House of Digitalization focuses on raising awareness and prevention. The cybersecurity district tour with the Ministry of the Interior strengthens awareness of digital threats. The roadshow "Who Controls the Likes?" in cooperation with the Austrian Armed Forces also focuses on international influence, disinformation, and manipulation on social media.
Making Digitalization Tangible
In addition to offerings for businesses, the exhibitions are a key element in engaging people in the digital transformation. Following "Human + Machine" and "SMART DATA + YOU," the current exhibition, "Is Digital the Solution? – Innovations for Our Future," addresses the opportunities and challenges of digital developments. Interactive stations, regional projects, and the 360-degree LED wall make digitalization tangible and create space for new perspectives.
A Guide Through Structural Change
The House of Digitalization sees itself as a bridge between technology and people. It aims to provide guidance, alleviate anxieties, and encourage active participation in shaping digital developments. For SMEs, this means access to knowledge, partners, and tools. For the general public, it means experiencing digitalization firsthand and gaining a deeper understanding of it.
