Digital guest registration in times of Covid-19
Background
We originally developed the digital registration form for vacation rental owners. Due to the mandatory guest registration in restaurants and at events caused by Covid-19, we adapted our digital guest form, redesigned our web platform for this purpose, and created a dedicated service.
Objectives
Our goal was to offer a simple and straightforward solution for the hospitality industry, eliminating the need for guests to fill out paper forms. Numerous businesses throughout Austria, from cafes and restaurants to construction companies, now use this solution.

We offer this solution free of charge to individual businesses in Austria as a form of support.
Regular customer function
To save regular customers from having to re-enter their information each time, we have integrated a function that saves their form data locally in the browser cache. This means that the data is already pre-filled on their next visit, and they only need to click "Submit."
Results
Over 400 businesses now use digital guest registration to electronically record their guests instead of dealing with paper forms. This allows contact tracing teams to react quickly and inform potential COVID-19 contacts to prevent clusters.
