Digitalization for the elderly

Seniors often have problems with the speed of digitalization. Many of the tools that seem simple and logical to others often overwhelm seniors. This often leads to seniors being dependent on help. There are now many interesting approaches and initiatives in Lower Austria that want to tackle this challenge with various offers especially for senior citizens. The adult education center in Herzogenburg offers cell phone courses specifically for senior citizens, where participants are shown what options they have and which tools are useful on their own (!) smartphones. The local Raiffeisenbank also supports senior citizens with individual offers for senior citizens, from personal discussions with tips and tricks to explanations of the self-service terminal and online banking.
