Awareness of and the use of digitalization have now permeated all areas of life and all industries. FOTEC demonstrates how research can contribute to generating effective and automated systems to facilitate quality assurance, including in the food industry, with its current framework agreement with the spice trader Kotányi.

The new everyday reality: Using smart glasses on the assembly line

In the "Mixed Reality Based Collaboration 4 Industry" project, FOTEC focused on displaying the correct process descriptions on smart glasses for Kotányi employees during various maintenance, cleaning, and setup tasks. This sparked further discussions about additional support measures, which ultimately led to the framework agreement between FOTEC and Kotányi.
