District cybersecurity tour continues

Since its opening in early 2023, the “House of Digitalization” has established itself as a dynamic center for the digital world, extending far beyond Lower Austria. In addition to the current exhibition SMART DATA + YOU, numerous initiatives are being launched to demonstrate to Lower Austria’s SMEs, in particular, the opportunities that digitalization offers.
Increasing digitalization opens up new possibilities but also brings risks. With the growing digitalization of our lives, more points of attack for cybercrime emerge. Since 2023, the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the “House of Digitalization” have been working together in partnership to raise awareness and promote prevention in order to counteract this development. At the heart of this cooperation is a roadshow to highlight the dangers of the cyber world, which was attended by 1,470 participants last year. This successful cybersecurity district tour will continue in 2024.
Currently, events are planned in Zwettl (April 25), Amstetten (May 16), Hollabrunn (September 12), and Mödling (October 17).
Interested companies can register through their respective district chamber of commerce.
Additional events exclusively for municipal representatives will be held at the House of Digitalization in Tulln and in St. Pölten.
