(8 August 2025) – "Digitalisation is the glue that holds our modern world together – no area of life or business can do without it today. The possibilities offered by artificial intelligence have significantly accelerated this development. That is why the digital transformation of our economy is crucial to ensuring that our companies remain successful in the future. But it is just as important that people are also included in this development – because only those who stay on the ball will be fit for the future. The House of Digitalisation provides simple, practical access to the latest knowledge in the field of digitalisation, thus making a valuable contribution to the best future for our children," explains State Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner.

SCIENCE CENTRE AND EXHIBITION

One of the attractions for interested Lower Austrians is the annually changing exhibition in the House of Digitalisation. Since its opening in 2024, around 16,500 exhibition visitors have immersed themselves in the world of data before the ‘SMART DATA + YOU’ exhibition closed on 12 July. The new exhibition will be prepared over the summer months and will open on 6 September under the title ‘Is digital the solution? – Innovations for our future’, focusing on key issues of digital transformation. Visitor interest in the Science Centre Lower Austria is also very high. In the first half of 2025, around 2,500 guests took advantage of the opportunity to experience modern technologies up close in the laboratories for digital technologies and biotechnology – from laser cutters and VR glasses to DNA analysis in the laboratory.

NETWORK EVENTS: FOCUS ON SMEs, CYBERSECURITY AND AI
