House of Digitalization in full operation

Services for businesses, events, exhibitions, studies, culinary offerings, hands-on activities in the FabLab, and coworking – all in one location

Following the opening of the physical House of Digitalization on December 6, the opening of the "Human + Machine" exhibition on January 17, and the opening of the "Charging Station" restaurant, the University of Applied Sciences' premises on the second floor and the rental space on the first floor are now fully operational.

The "House of Digitalization" in Tulln is Lower Austria's central hub for businesses and experts in the field of digitalization. The center has been successfully launched, and its diverse offerings are proving popular. The House of Digitalization provides services for businesses, a modern event venue, the multimedia "Human + Machine" exhibition, the University of Applied Sciences' academic programs, a restaurant, hands-on learning opportunities in the FabLab, and coworking spaces—all in one location.

Here's an update on the services and opportunities at the House of Digitalization:



Ground Floor:

  • Showroom powered by HYPO Niederösterreich as the "Human + Machine" exhibition location: The presentation in the House of Digitalization's showroom makes digitalization tangible in an understandable, emotional, stimulating, and entertaining way: Where is artificial intelligence hidden? How smart will our lives be in the future? "Human + Machine" offers many exciting insights at interactive stations. A 360° LED show. Explore the digital city with a tablet. Take a selfie with your digital twin. The "Human + Machine" exhibition is full of wow moments.

    Visits are possible Monday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Last entry to the exhibition is at 5:30 PM.

 

  • Showroom powered by HYPO Niederösterreich as a rentable event location: 500 square meters – endless possibilities for special events. With just a few simple steps, we can transform our large showroom into an event venue. Use the 360° LED wall to make a lasting impression on your guests. Whether it's for a product presentation, a gala evening, or a unique conference, the showroom can accommodate up to 400 guests, depending on the seating arrangement.

  • Restaurant "ladestation": At "ladestation," we keep our guests energized all day long. Our menu is always tailored to the time of day, the season, and individual tastes. It starts with our popular breakfast boxes and extends far beyond salads, bowls, and wraps. Regional products are important to us – many ingredients come from local farms. Whether you prefer vegan, vegetarian, or meat options, at "ladestation" you can choose from dishes prepared fresh daily. Enjoy them in the House of Digitalization or take them to go.

1st Floor

  • FabLab Lower Austria powered by ACP: The FabLab of the Lower Austrian Department of Science invites you to explore and experiment with innovative digital technologies in a playful way. Visitors gain insights into how 3D printers, laser cutters, and cutting plotters work in workshops, can visit interesting locations using VR headsets, or place virtual objects in space using augmented reality. A playful approach is paramount.

 

  • Lower Austria – including the Office for Digitalization: The Office for Technology and Digitalization connects the various digitalization initiatives of the State of Lower Austria. It serves as a coordination point for initiating innovative projects and exchanging information on best-practice examples.   • Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce: The Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce supports Lower Austrian businesses in the areas of innovation, technology, and digitalization through targeted consulting services from experts. Topics include: trends and technologies from research, the creative industries, and digitalization; support with funding programs and patents; and information on e-business, IT security, and social media.

 

  • accent – ​​The high-tech incubator of Lower Austria: accent supports numerous scientific projects as startups entering the market. accent offers its startups a state-of-the-art and innovative coworking space of approximately 100m² in the House of Digitalization, powered by AirportCity Space.

 

  • riz up – The startup agency of Lower Austria: riz up offers a comprehensive range of services for founders and young entrepreneurs: 1. Free consulting in all phases of business development (start easily, grow securely), 2. Free seminars and webinars, 3. Free video tutorials in the riz up digital library! And this covers all business-related questions – from business plans to (online) marketing, from sales to future trends.

 

  • ecoplus Digital – The Digitalization Agency of Lower Austria ecoplus Digital's services always focus on supporting local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on their path to a digital future and making digitalization accessible to all ages. Lower Austria's SMEs benefit from our opportunities to drive digitalization forward in Lower Austria. We showcase innovative SME projects and raise awareness of the Lower Austrian digitalization network.

 


2nd Floor

  • Biotech Campus Tulln of the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt: With its part-time "Bio Data Science" program, the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt bridges the gap between biotechnology and digitalization. The expansion in the House of Digitalization allows the university to strengthen this focus and significantly improve the location for students. In addition to "Bio Data Science," another focus is the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Biotechnological Processes.

 


3rd Floor

  • The Innovation Lounge powered by EVN as a rentable event location: The Innovation Lounge on the top floor offers space for up to 40 people. In this 130-square-meter space, you and your guests can discuss, present, and celebrate together. All this with a panoramic view of the Tulln campus. The airy lounge is perfect for meetings – and the technical equipment for hybrid formats and multimedia presentations is already in place.


Lower Austria's small and medium-sized enterprises are increasingly relying on the advantages of digitalization to optimize business processes or tap into new market segments. The targeted personal encounters at the House of Digitalization with people, projects, innovations, and partners are designed to network, inspire, and motivate.
