ibindo - the digital reporting system in tourism
Background
Daniel Haas, the founder, rented out a vacation apartment himself. The bureaucracy involved prompted him, as an IT expert, to consider how guest registration forms, overnight stay statistics, and local taxes could be digitized to save time. In 2020, a corresponding SaaS solution was developed and implemented in collaboration with Michael Brayer and Stefan Romstorfer.
Goals
Simple, straightforward, and digital are our guiding principles. We wanted to develop a solution that would allow landlords to manage countless rental properties. With ibindo, hotel groups and property managers would have a simple tool at their fingertips to largely automate the registration process.
Our goal was to digitize the entire registration process, from the business to the municipality and finally to Statistics Austria.
Our vision is to simplify paper-based bureaucratic processes with well-designed digital solutions and save our customers valuable time.
Milestones
Development of Digital Guest Registration Software for Private Room Owners
The idea was to develop software that allows for the digital management of multiple vacation rentals.
One link that the guest receives, fills out the registration form on their smartphone – done.
The ibindo Municipal Cloud
A municipality is required to consolidate the statistics of all businesses monthly. For municipalities, this often means a lot of work with Excel spreadsheets, manually sorting lists, or even manually entering registration forms. We wanted to simplify this process and created a "client system" that allows ibindo businesses to connect directly to their municipality. Through electronic reporting each month, a municipality or tourism association can now generate the statistics and submit them to Statistics Austria at the touch of a button.
Result
The result is a highly scalable solution for landlords in Austria. The ibindo Municipal Cloud enables the entire registration process to be handled digitally throughout Austria. No more tedious paperwork! More time for landlords and municipalities.
