However, the lack of user-friendliness, incompatibility, and high costs of many applications are currently causing hesitancy among many farm managers. The actual benefits of some technologies for small-scale, family-run farms in Austria are also often questionable. Nevertheless, it is undisputed that digital tools offer additional potential for environmentally sound and professional farming practices, which is beneficial for both the environment and competitiveness.

The Innovation Farm aims to facilitate access to new developments for farmers. Digital technologies, trends, and developments will be made visible, tangible, and, above all, applicable.

The Innovation Farm's fundamental goal is to highlight the benefits of new technological solutions for Austrian agriculture and to facilitate access to new developments for farmers, thereby making an important contribution to sustainable agriculture. Through collaboration between manufacturers and researchers, practical solutions for modern agricultural operations will be evaluated and made available. The concept of Agriculture 4.0 must be made tangible and applicable for users. Opportunities and risks will be highlighted, trends analyzed, and efficient and sustainable management ensured with existing know-how.

Practical solutions for modern agricultural operations will be provided through a variety of dissemination and training initiatives.
