Following an expert kick-off event on "Cybersecurity Awareness" on April 19, 2023, at the "House of Digitalization," the roadshow visited Krems (May 16, 2023), Klosterneuburg (June 15, 2023), Wieselburg (September 19, 2023), St. Pölten (October 12, 2023), and Wiener Neustadt (November 2023). The target groups were public administration, business, and the education sector. Accordingly, at each stop, the roadshow visited a school, the district administration office, and the local Chamber of Commerce branch. Partners of the roadshow included the "House of Digitalization," the Federal Ministry of the Interior, the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKNÖ), the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV Niederösterreich), and the Competence Center for Secure Austria (KSÖ).
In addition to the roadshow, the "House of Digitalization," managed by ecoplus Digital, continued its Security Boost Camps in Lower Austria in 2023 in cooperation with ETC - Enterprise Training Center and Microsoft Austria. Last year, over 100 Lower Austrian companies received training and further education in cybersecurity at two Security Boost Camps. Starting in September, three different formats were available for various target groups in Lower Austria: free training courses to familiarize participants with the principles of cybersecurity; a basic training course for certified companies to get started with the topic; and a format for advanced participants and graduates of previous qualification programs.
Furthermore, the ecoplus team at the "House of Digitalization" is planning a cybersecurity summer school for children and new videos with expert tips on current cybersecurity issues such as ransomware.
