"The future is digital – we in Lower Austria have been convinced of this since 2015. Since then, we have been actively working to drive the digital transformation of the local economy and increase the digital skills of the population – points that are now also enshrined in the new 2030 state strategy. The 'House of Digitalization' plays a key role in this. It's about making the best possible use of digital change for all of us. To achieve this, we need to inspire people with digitalization and amaze them. The 'Human + Machine' exhibition is the perfect starting point," says Jochen Danninger, Lower Austria's State Councillor for Digitalization.
With the opening of "Human + Machine," the spectacular showroom with its over 300 m² LED screen will also come to life. "The 'House of Digitalization' doesn't just showcase digitalization; it is digitalization itself. Visitors experience 'Human + Machine' in the showroom as a three-dimensional Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art) that makes digitalization tangible in an understandable, emotional, stimulating, and entertaining way," explains Charlotte Tamschick, whose interdisciplinary studio TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE is responsible for spectacular spatial media productions worldwide.
Visitors can look forward to an interplay of mobile, interactive stations, the artistic interpretation of real-time data, innovative projects from Lower Austria, a nearly 360-degree LED screen spanning over 300 square meters, exceptional sound and lighting technology, and breathtaking architecture. The "Human + Machine" exhibition offers fascinating insights: In the digital age, the relationship between "human + machine" is changing – creating enormous opportunities and possibilities, but also raising important questions: Where will artificial intelligence be applied? How smart and sustainable will our future lives be? How can our economy benefit from digitalization?
