keyper / Sharing tickets. Secure and easy.

Keyper is a technology provider that offers its customers, such as sports clubs and cultural events, as well as their fans/visitors, the easy distribution, management, and personalization of digital tickets for individual games and season tickets within the club app or other existing solutions. This can solve the "no-show" problem, generate more revenue, and combat the ticket black market.

Keyper was founded based on a personal experience by CEO Andreas Kienbink. He and his family had to wait in line to enter a football stadium because his brother-in-law had the tickets in the car and was stuck in traffic. At that time, there were apps for everything, but ticket management was outdated. Keyper's founders, Andreas Kienbink and Andreas Kreuter, thought it would be great to develop an app for simple ticket handling. Since 2013, their team has been working to bring ticketing into the 21st century.

Our primary goal is to ensure that digital ticket distribution is as simple, secure, and fast as possible for our customers, stakeholders, and their clients. We also aim to help curb the ticket black market so that we can offer tickets to visitors at affordable prices.

One of the product's distinguishing features is its contactless application. Especially in the current climate shaped by Covid-19, another key functionality is gaining even more prominence: the data protection-compliant personalization of tickets. "Should suspected cases arise, the data necessary for tracing and reconstructing the attendees can be provided at the touch of a button," explains Andreas Kienbink, Managing Director of keyper.

2014-2015 - Technical Development & keyper App

The development of our iOS app, Android app, and web app began. Product development has been ongoing ever since. First, the keyper app was developed, enabling the easy forwarding of tickets.

2016-2017 - Focus on Business Customers & Initial Pilot Projects

The focus shifted from a B2C app to a B2B SDK business model. Initial successes were achieved. A test phase with pilot customers Haydn Festival Eisenstadt, the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna, and FC Basel 1893 was conducted using a white-label design.

Since 2018 - Market Development & Expansion

Our marketing activities have been intensified. The goal was to establish keyper as a leading name in the ticketing industry. Key features for an even more user-friendly application have been/are being developed. The focus is on sports clubs, event organizers, and cultural event organizers.

Current - COVID-19

During the COVID-19 crisis, we want to use our core technology in a meaningful way. To this end, we have developed a solution based on the keyper platform that supports the digital distribution and logistics of COVID-19 tests. Through online webinars, we are exploring solutions to enable the return of spectators to stadiums. ...

The result is a fully deployable technology used by clients such as FK Austria Wien (Austria), FC Bayern Munich (Germany), Karlsruher SC (Germany), FC Basel (Switzerland), Újpest FC (Hungary), the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna (Austria), and the Salzburg Festival (Austria).
