The demand from businesses in the summer was so great that the roadshow was extended - the additional date in the Mostviertel was also fully booked.
Andreas Purt, Managing Director of Destination Mostviertel in Lower Austria, emphasizes: “Tourism businesses are always looking for new ways to improve the guest experience. AI opens up opportunities to optimize internal processes and create unique experiences.”
The workshop gave 21 participants a comprehensive insight into the possibilities of AI and its practical applications in tourism. Philipp-Thomas Müller, Managing Director of CtrlE Consulting & Holding GmbH, hosted the event and presented innovative AI solutions that help companies to automate marketing and communication strategies as well as internal processes and make them more efficient.
“The high demand clearly shows the growing need for practical AI solutions in the tourism sector. The targeted use of AI can not only increase the efficiency of businesses, but also enhance the experience for guests,” say Haus der Digitalisierung Managing Directors Lukas Reutterer and Claus Zeppelzauer.
After the stop in the Mostviertel region, two more workshops will take place in the coming weeks:
November 22, 2024: Waldviertel, Schwarz Alm, Zwettl
29 November 2024: Danube Lower Austria, House of Digitalization, Tulln
The free workshop series is aimed at accommodation providers, gastronomy and leisure businesses.
