Knowledge transfer from top universities abroad

Progress thrives on the exchange of knowledge. For sole proprietorships and SMEs, it is often not so easy to access knowledge at top research institutions and participate in this exchange, which is why we want to create more opportunities.

The goal of AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT NIEDERÖSTERREICH (Lower Austria's Foreign Trade) is to strengthen cooperation and exchange between international research and the Austrian economy.

• Connection to the international networks of top universities and research institutions
• Access to research projects at top universities
• Exchange of information and know-how on the latest technology, innovation, and management trends
• Initiation of R&D collaborations between Austrian companies and top universities.
• Exclusive events (future-oriented trips, webinars, conferences, workshops) with researchers in key areas for members of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO).

These collaborations also give sole proprietors and SMEs the opportunity to access knowledge at top research institutions: for example, Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, ETH Zurich, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, or the European Institute of Design (EID) in Milan.

Lower Austrian companies are encouraged by AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT Niederösterreich (Lower Austria's foreign trade division) to take advantage of these WKO collaborations. Together with AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA (Austrian foreign trade division), we inform companies in Lower Austria about these activities of innovateaustria.
