The lockdown phases and the associated challenges – distance lecturing, teleworking from home, and much more – prompted me, as a lecturer and freelancer, to make greater use of virtual opportunities. Existing ideas and the new necessities led to the development of this software – mindVRexcellence.

This development utilizes the possibilities of virtual reality to elevate the learning experience into the third dimension. Initially, the development focused on creating a 3D mind map, primarily to make integrated management systems more understandable and, quite literally, more tangible.

IT tools are often seen as lifesavers, but many prove to increase complexity in practice. Therefore, with our virtual work environment, we are pursuing a different approach, aiming to playfully engage employees in all areas and thereby awaken their enjoyment of discovering and experiencing the processes. This emotionally engaging learning unleashes more creativity for alternative solutions – ideas that would otherwise have gone unnoticed. This virtual environment is intended to support both experience-oriented employee training and the associated development of sound skills, as well as collaborative workshop implementation and cross-media knowledge retention.
