Initial Situation
Currently, we manually feed and remove approximately 20,000 tubes annually from our various processing machines. This requires utmost concentration to ensure the precision of the processed tubes. Only precisely machined tubes produce stable frames for our tents.
Objectives
Our goal in implementing a KUKA industrial robot is to relieve the workload of our employees while simultaneously increasing our production capacity.
Milestones
Selecting the Right Robot
Finding a suitable robot with a compatible gripping system that would integrate seamlessly into our production line and offer flexibility in programming and adapting to changes in work processes proved challenging.
Result
By using the KUKA industrial robot, we can optimize the utilization of our production machines and significantly increase production capacity. The processing of our frame components is even more precise and completely error-free thanks to the robot.
