The diverse program, featuring a total of eight stations, was extremely well received. Particularly popular were the current exhibition "Is Digital the Solution? – Innovations for Our Future," the audiovisual show "What is the Rhizosphere?", and the interactive stations of the Science Center Lower Austria. There, visitors could, among other things, explore modern technologies in the "Workshop of the Future," delve into the world of biotechnology, try their hand at programming and artificial intelligence, or experience immersive applications in the AR/VR studio.
"The Long Night of Research has once again demonstrated the immense interest in digitalization, science, and innovation when these topics are presented in an accessible, interactive, and engaging way. We are delighted by the many positive responses and satisfied faces at the House of Digitalization," emphasized Lukas Reutterer and Claus Zeppelzauer, Managing Directors of the House of Digitalization.
The regional culinary offerings in the atrium also contributed to the pleasant atmosphere of the evening. The Niederhametner family provided refreshments in the style of a traditional Viennese wine tavern, offering a welcome opportunity for refreshments and socializing between the various program items.
