School roadshow “Who controls the likes?” in Horn
The school roadshow “Who Controls the Likes?” stopped yesterday at the HAK/HLW Horn. The initiative, a joint project of the House of Digitalization, the Austrian Armed Forces, and the Lower Austrian Education Directorate, provided 250 students with practical insights into how social media works – and the role cybersecurity plays in it.

The focus was on the mechanisms behind algorithms, the dynamics of digital opinion formation, and the responsible handling of personal data. Furthermore, the importance of national defense in cyberspace was addressed, and it was demonstrated how government institutions contribute to the security of digital infrastructures. The roadshow aims to raise young people's awareness of the opportunities and risks of digital platforms at an early stage and to strengthen their media literacy in a sustainable way.
