Secure online session with voting tool on the blockchain

This digital solution integrates traditional video conferencing functionality into a web application, enabling legally compliant electronic voting based on an agenda and embedded documents. The current pandemic has clearly demonstrated the limitations of conducting decision-making meetings in various bodies (municipal councils, supervisory boards, association boards, etc.). Background

The pilot project now available was developed in cooperation with the Federal Computing Center and is currently being tested by numerous stakeholders. If you would like to try out the pilot, please get in touch! The programming costs were covered by aws through Innovative Public Procurement (IÖB) and co-financing partners.

Objectives

By combining in-person and digital elements, it will be possible to attract volunteers, particularly in municipalities, who have too little time for purely in-person events.

Development process using design thinking methods completed

Software programming completed as a proof of concept (PoC)

Testing phase with municipalities, associations, and companies runs until the end of April 2021

Outcome

Following the completion of the PoC project, a corresponding product will be launched on the market with the help of private investors.
