This joint initiative by the ecoplus "Haus der Digitalisierung" (House of Digitalization) and "Women in Business" (Frau in der Wirtschaft) Lower Austria aims to facilitate women's access to artificial intelligence and support them in leveraging new technological opportunities for their professional activities. The series is supported by the expertise of "SHE GOES AI" and "Women in AI Austria."
AI Applications for Everyday Business
During the workshop "SHE & AI – Effectively Utilizing AI in Everyday Business," Veronika Geyer used concrete examples to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can assist with tasks such as customer research, marketing, preparing proposals, and data analysis. Other key topics included the art of crafting effective inputs for AI systems—known as "prompting"—as well as the use of AI agents capable of handling more complex tasks. The workshop also addressed questions regarding data protection and the legal framework.
The primary focus was on the immediate, practical benefits for the participants. In addition to hands-on demonstrations, the workshop helped attendees identify relevant AI applications for their own businesses and develop initial steps toward implementing AI effectively.
"Artificial intelligence offers numerous ways to streamline workflows and free up time for other important tasks. The crucial factor is that businesses know exactly how to apply these technologies. With formats like 'SHE & AI,' we aim to bridge that gap—moving from initial awareness to practical application," emphasize Lukas Reutterer and Claus Zeppelzauer, Managing Directors of the Haus der Digitalisierung.
Vera Sares, state chair of *Frau in der Wirtschaft* (Women in Business) in Lower Austria, emphasizes the importance of supporting female entrepreneurs as they navigate current developments in artificial intelligence: “For us as female entrepreneurs, artificial intelligence offers many opportunities to make our daily work lives simpler and more efficient. The key is not necessarily to understand every technical development in minute detail, but rather to identify which possibilities are truly sensible for one’s own business and practical to implement on a day-to-day basis. That is precisely where we want to step in: with a focus on practical application, clarity, and genuine added value for our entrepreneurs.”
Daniela Reisner, district chair of *Frau in der Wirtschaft* for the Wiener Neustadt district, adds: “Anyone running a business can no longer afford to ignore the topic of AI—which is why it is essential to be proactive in seeking information and building knowledge. I am all the more pleased that the participants at this event here in Wiener Neustadt were able to identify concrete starting points for their own businesses and derive real benefit from them.”
