“She goes AI” is to be rolled out more broadly in Lower Austria from September

A successful launch and positive feedback confirm a concrete need for practical AI skills for women. Yesterday, the first phase of the "SHE & AI" initiative, launched in May, came to a close with a workshop at the ecoplus House of Digitalization in Tulln, marking the end of its summer break. Following a successful awareness event with around 200 participants and initial workshops in Tulln, Wiener Neustadt, and Wieselburg, the initiative is set to be rolled out more broadly in Lower Austria starting in September, in collaboration with strong partners.

The initiative kicked off in May with a joint event with Women in Business Lower Austria and ACP entitled "SHE & AI – Perspectives, Potential, Responsibility" – powered by SHE GOES. Around 200 participants attended the event at the House of Digitalization, and due to high demand, a live stream was also offered. The focus was on AI skills, concrete applications in everyday professional life, and how women can actively and responsibly shape the digital transformation. Expert presentations, panel discussions on New Work, education, governance, and ethics, as well as numerous networking opportunities, highlighted the significant need for guidance and exchange.

Following this initial awareness event, practical workshops were held in Tulln, Wiener Neustadt, and Wieselburg. Participants were able to experience generative artificial intelligence firsthand, explore various applications, and develop concrete ways to use it in their professional and business lives. Feedback on the kick-off event and the workshops was overwhelmingly positive. Participants particularly appreciated the accessible approach, the strong practical focus, and the open exchange.

"The strong turnout at the launch event and the positive feedback from the workshops demonstrate that 'She & AI' addresses a real need. Together with our partners, we plan to expand the initiative across Lower Austria starting in September, creating a sustainable program that empowers women to actively and responsibly shape the digital transformation," emphasized Lukas Reutterer and Claus Zeppelzauer, Managing Directors of the House of Digitalization.

“Artificial intelligence opens up tremendous opportunities for women in business and the workplace. With ‘SHE & AI,’ we are creating a practical program together with Women in Business Lower Austria and the State of Lower Austria that empowers women, imparts knowledge, and supports them in actively shaping the digital transformation,” emphasizes Vera Sares, Chairwoman of Women in Business Lower Austria.

Further workshops and awareness events are planned in Lower Austria starting in September. The rollout will be carried out jointly with Women in Business Lower Austria, the federal initiative SHE GOES AI, and Women in AI Austria. With this initiative, the House of Digitalization is placing another emphasis on the practical dissemination of artificial intelligence. The goal is to build knowledge, reduce apprehension, and support women in actively shaping the digital transformation.
