The Dataskop research project makes environmental data visible where it is generated and collected.
Augmented reality devices such as glasses or tablets make this data visible on the spot.
For example, a farmer can use AR glasses to see how much fertilizer should be applied per square meter directly from their tractor.
This requires smart environmental sensors that take continuous measurements, as well as smart networks and data platforms that consolidate this data and make it available on mobile devices.
Dataskop is a collaboration between the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, FOTEC Wiener Neustadt, and IMC Krems.
You can find more information about Dataskop and other exciting “DATA PIONEER” projects in the “SMART DATA + DU” exhibition.
As part of the “Showcase Network House of Digitalization” campaign, we highlight a successful digitalization project from Lower Austria once a month.
