Predictive Driving

Firefly is a mobility concept of the future. It is designed to record and analyze all traffic events and provide information and assistance to road users.

Firefly is designed to help anticipate conflict situations in traffic and avoid them through timely, personalized recommendations for action.

Firefly can detect pedestrians crossing and protect them by brightening the streetlights at the intersection. Turning pedestrians can also be warned of cross traffic that is not yet visible.

These possibilities are to be created through end-to-end networking of a wide variety of sensors and data sources in cars, infrastructure, etc.
