"Showcase Network House of Digitalization" Project of the Month: Remotely Controlled Service Technician
MMS Modular Molding Systems in Berndorf manufactures machines and production systems for metal-plastic composites. To provide customers with the best possible support, for example, in the event of error messages, the company uses augmented reality. MMS employees can view the equipment via a video connection and support the customer's service technicians working on the systems. This allows the technicians to work hands-free. MMS employees can also, for example, display instructions or design data on the AR glasses. Furthermore, the system is also used by MMS employees during the commissioning of the systems – enabling even greater efficiency.
