Creating a Spare Parts Catalog 

 

The data for creating the interactive solutions is either imported via interfaces (ERP, CAD, PLM/PDM) or entered into our software's integrated content management system. The catalog is published in multiple languages ​​and optionally in 2D or 3D format: 2D exploded views can be directly imported in all common image formats and zoomed continuously. 3D models for displaying assemblies in an interactive 3D format are imported from the CAD system, converted, and displayed in the browser without the need to install any plug-ins.

All information can be published in a controlled manner for specific user groups via a comprehensive user management system. This allows for the representation of complex organizational structures (national and subsidiary companies, dealers, etc.) and the assignment of different roles with or without individual access rights to users.

 

Editing spare parts data

After importing data from upstream systems, the source data can also be further edited and corrected in the editorial system. The integrated search function allows users to search for all numbers and terms within the material master data. Revisions and variant parts lists (variant matrices) can also be displayed. The integrated translation management system allows for the easy addition and editing of translations.

 

Search, find, and order spare parts

After the online spare parts catalog is published, spare parts are clearly and systematically searchable for all user groups (customers, dealers, service technicians, etc.). From the machine overview, users can navigate to the assembly overview and then to the interactive image-based parts list view, either via navigation arrows or the integrated structure tree. This allows for the unambiguous identification of the correct spare parts and their addition to the shopping cart. Depending on requirements, the shopping cart can then be submitted as an inquiry or an order.
