The Christmas holiday rush was overwhelming. Parents with freezing children often waited for hours in front of the entrance until someone left the ice rink. Organizing COVID-compliant queuing was difficult. The mood among those waiting threatened to turn sour, especially among those who had driven up to 30 km for nothing. The call for an online reservation system grew louder.
Implementation within 24 hours while the rink remains open. The city of Tulln informed the public about the online reservation option through all available channels. Posters were also displayed on-site. The news spread like wildfire.

The response has been excellent; there are hardly any no-shows. Cancellation policies are very compliant.
