SUCCESSFUL 1 YEAR FOR THE "HOUSE OF DIGITALIZATION"

The "House of Digitalization" is celebrating its first successful year of operation and has established itself as a dynamic center for the digital world, extending far beyond Lower Austria. Since its opening in January 2023, the "Human + Machine" exhibition has attracted 13,500 visitors. Seventy-three high-profile events, including the Lower Austrian Innovation Prize, the 2nd Austrian Cybersecurity Conference, and the Federal Government's Digitalization Summit, drew a total of 6,400 attendees. In November, the House of Digitalization was awarded the international AV industry prize in London in the "Venue Project of the Year" category. At the FabLab, over 1,500 children and young people gained insights into digital technologies such as 3D printers, VR headsets, and augmented reality. In 2023, the "House of Digitalization" established itself as a vibrant hub of inspiration and networking, and as a significant meeting place for business professionals.

The new themed exhibition "SMART DATA + YOU" opens on February 1, 2024, at the House of Digitalization. Through an interactive narrative, visitors are introduced to the world of Big Data and Smart Data. They explore where data originates and how we ourselves, often unconsciously, become data sources. The exhibition demonstrates how data is collected, processed, and used for the common good as a valuable "raw material," while also emphasizing the importance of data protection. In 2024, the House of Digitalization continues its support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a focus on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI). The successful "Digitalks on Tour" and Cybersecurity District Tour formats will continue and be expanded to include the topics of Generative AI and Prompting. This new workshop offering is linked to the exhibition theme "SMART DATA + You" and aims to raise awareness among companies about the effective use of AI and support them in their digital transformation process. Prompting, as a method for extracting valuable data from AI systems, is highlighted as an essential skill for future-oriented companies.
