Successful start in the Weinviertel tourism destination
House of Digitalisation and Lower Austria Advertising continue AI workshop roadshow for tourism businesses

(Hollabrunn, October 11, 2024) – With a fully booked workshop at the Stadthotel Hollabrunn, the workshop series "Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Tourism," launched by the House of Digitalization and the Lower Austria Tourist Board, successfully kicked off its October 2, 2024, round today. The roadshow already generated significant interest in the summer and has therefore been extended.
"The response shows us that there is enormous demand for practical AI applications in tourism. The use of AI can significantly increase efficiency in businesses while simultaneously improving the guest experience," emphasize Lukas Reutterer and Claus Zeppelzauer, Managing Directors of the House of Digitalisation.
Hannes Steinacker, Managing Director of Destination Weinviertel, also emphasizes the importance of the workshops: "Our tourism businesses want to continually offer their guests greater comfort, and artificial intelligence opens up entirely new opportunities in this regard. The workshops impressively demonstrate how companies in the tourism sector can use AI to create tailored experiences and make their internal processes more efficient."
The workshop offered the 20 participants a practical introduction to AI technologies and their potential applications in the tourism sector. Led by Philipp-Thomas Müller, Managing Director of CtrlE Consulting & Holding GmbH, innovative AI tools were presented that help companies automate and optimize marketing, customer communication, and internal processes.

This free workshop series is aimed at accommodation providers, restaurants, and leisure providers who want to explore the potential of AI for their businesses. Participation is limited to 20 people.
